Sophomores: It's never too early to start planning for college or life after high school.  Do some research online about careers and fields that interest you.  Log on to www.bridges/transitions.com and complete career related surveys.  Begin to understand what you like and what you are good at!  Stop by the Guidance Office for extra resources!  Take challenging courses and work hard in school!

Juniors: Now is the time to begin your college searches online. Take challenging classes.  Keep your grades up!  Your high school performance is the most important part of your college application.  Explore careers that interest you.  Complete a job shadow experience or volunteer in a field of your choosing.  Prepare for the SATs.  Stop by the Guidance Office for practice books and resources.  Come spring, register to take the SATs.  Check out the official SAT website: www.collegeboard.com. Make reservations to attend a spring Open House at a college of your choice!  Make the most of your junior year!!

Seniors: Meet with college representatives at your school.  Attend Open Houses often.  Set up college visits.  Register to take the SATs, again, to improve your score.  Keep track of college application deadlines.  Apply for local scholarships.  Attend Financial Aid Nights.  Visit your Guidance Counselor often. Come January, complete the FAFSA as early as possible.  Plan your future!
