Welcome to Kindergarten!

Educational Resources During School Closing
Many parents have been asking what they can do with their child during the school closure. In addition to the items that were placed on your child's desk on Wednesday, I have provided a couple other options.

1. Reviewing sight words with your child is always great!  Each child should have their individual list of sight words they are working on.

Fun ways to review their sight words:
*Writing the words in jello powder/salt or sugar
*Writing the words in chalk
*Finding sight words in magazines/newspapers
*Making them with playdough

2. Continue to fill your child's reading log. If you are in need of books, you can visit https://www.getepic.com/  or https://www.storylineonline.net/. Here you will be able to access free books.

3. Many educational websites are also available for students to use that help them practice their reading and math skills. The two that we use the most in the classroom are https://www.abcya.com/ and https://www.starfall.com/h/

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
