 SPOILER ALERT!

A Review of Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick (by a Middle School student)

In Freak the Mighty, a boy named Max and a kid named Freak from across the street meet and become friends. Freak is a little short kid who is kind of a genius and Max is tall and a bit on the slow side. Freak and Max join together to become Freak the Mighty and have a lot of adventures as Freak rides on Max's shoulders. Max's dad, who is called Killer Kane, gets out of jail and comes looking for Max.

I rated this book very interesting because it is a story you can really get into. It leaves you in suspense and you never want to put it down. Everyone should read it!

Absolutely Normal Chaos by Sharon Creech (a review by Tara Z.)

Mary Lou Finney is a thirteen year old girl who has a crush on a boy in the neighborhood. Throughout the summer she has to keep a journal of the things that happen to her. Her best friend, Beth Ann, has a boyfriend for half of the summer. The first week of summer, her cousin, Carl Ray, comes to town and then the chaos starts.

I liked Absolutely Normal Chaos because it caught my attention and I love reading Sharon Creech's books. The characters in this book were really very memorable. Mary Lou, Beth Ann,  Carl Ray, Alex, and Maggie were all the characters I liked because they were funny, weird, and always in to someone's business. This book is unique because it has a lot of romance, friendship, comedy, and laughs.

Absolutely Normal Chaos is a funny and interesting book and I would recommend this book to any girl. This book might interest you because it has many descriptive scenes and creative language. As I said before, the characters are ones that you will not soon forget.

HITLER's LAST DAYS by Bill O'Reilly

read by EVAN B.

If you like history especially about world war 2 you will like this book about Adolph Hitler and how he spent his last days in Germany. Some people think Hitler escaped from Germany but this book tells how he killed himself before he could be captured. Oops Spoiler alert! I bought this book at the book fair last September.
