6 White Homework Policy 

In order to maintain high standards for success and maintain good communications for your child’s progress, we would like to inform you of one of our policies on performance, behavior, and class assignments.  In addition to following all the regulations set forth in the handbook, your child will also be expected to follow the rules of his/her classroom.  

The 6 White core teachers believe that homework is an integral part of your child’s education.  We encourage you as parents to be aware of your child’s homework by checking his/her handbook planner, the 6 White website, and most importantly, by communicating with your child. 

Students who fail to show improvement will be referred to administration for intervention and or additional consequences. 

Students who disrupt the classroom setting through misconduct or refusal to follow established rules,may be given an afterschool  detention. 

If your child is assigned an after school detention, you will receive notice before the detention is to be served.  Detention runs from 2:20 to 2:50 and it will be your responsibility to supply transportation for your child.
