This link to OWL at Purdue (Purdue's online writing lab), provides all of the latest updates.  It shows and explains all aspects of MLA formatting, which should be used for all typed papers in this Language Arts course.  Most colleges use this format as a standard for their typed assignments; therefore, it is important to master these skills now.  If one goes into the sciences or psychology, they often use a different format, APA.
