Glendale Elementary Guidance Counseling involves various elements:
- Individual Counseling:  This is based on brief counseling.  (Parent, Teacher, and Individual referrals are accepted)
-Individual Visits:  Sometimes a student chooses to visit for one session to deal with an issue.  This is a one time visit.  Parents and teachers may also ask the counselor to see the student.
-Classroom Counseling:  The counselor visits the classrooms to instruct Character Education and Bully Prevention Lessons.
-Referrals are made to outer agencies for counseling services and mental health services
-Character Education Awards:  Students are given special Star Bucks when they are caught doing kind acts.  All staff members have these special bucks to give to the students.  Students have chances to earn special awards by receiving the Star Bucks!
