I.  SUBJECT:               Grammar

    TEACHER:              Mr. J. Arnold

     LENGTH:               Nine week course

     TEXT:                     Grammar and Language Workbook

 

II.  COURSE DESCRIPTION

            1. Practice in basic grammar and language usage

           

 

III.  YOU ARE EXPECTED TO:

            1. Have text, notebook, writing implement

            2. Arrive on time in an orderly fashion

            3. Take care of restroom needs before class

            4. Refrain from asking to leave class

            5. Listen, take notes, and complete every assignment

            6. Respect others and respect property

            7.  Remain in your assigned seat

 

NOTE:  Unsatisfactory behavior regarding the above will result in a disciplinary referral.

 

IV.  NINE WEEKS GRADE CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:

            1. Quizzes

            2. Unit Tests

 

V.  No extra credit work is available

 

VI.  Absences:  All make up work is due in the number of days that a student is absent

unless special circumstances apply.  For example, if a student is absent for two days, he or she will have two days upon return to school to complete and turn in make-up work.
