Parent Involvement Policy

Our goal in Bear Creek Community Charter School is to provide an academic program of the highest quality for our students. We endeavor to help increasing numbers of children meet proficient and advanced levels in literacy and mathematics. A critical component to our students’ success is the on-going support and participation of our parents/guardians. Our Parent Involvement Policy is always evolving.

 

Title I Compact

Title I is a federally funded program and, as such, is required to meet federal and state requirements.  As part of a parent involvement requirement, teachers and parents worked together to create a Parent-Teacher-Student Compact. This plan reflects issues very basic to student success in meeting state standards and becoming independent learners.  As you read through the compact, you will realize that you are probably already doing these things as part of good parenting. Please review this compact with your child when you receive it.  We would appreciate your help in meeting Bear Creek Community Charter School’s Title I state and federal requirements by signing this form and sending it back to your child’s teacher.
