Grades

Grades will be based on the following:

1. Homework

2. Quizzes

3. Tests

4. Projects

5. Lab work - usually graded as a group

6. Activities

7. Notebooks

8. Class work

9. Signed work

10. Preparation points

11. Any other assessment method deemed appropriate by the teacher

Absence Policy

If you are absent from class it is your responsibility to find out what you missed. You will have up to one full week to complete missed assignments upon your return. Missed assignments are kept in the folder at the front of the room and Google Classroom. Being responsible is a must! Missed work not completed turns into a zero. Place all make up work in the black tray on my desk.

Any student who is absent on a test day and was present the day before will take the test on the next scheduled enrichment day, which may be the very next day.
