This is my 12th year teaching 6th Grade English at the Mathematics, Civics, and Sciences Charter School of Philadelphia.  I am PA certified and received my degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University.  M.C.S.C.S is the first school that I started teaching at full time.  I started teaching at M.C.S.C.S. two years after it was first opened by Veronica Joyner, CAO.  I have witnessed great change and accomplishments over the years including a 100% percent graduation rate by our students and the continued A.Y.P. success of our school. 

     It is my desire to continue to contribute to the high standards that are set by this school and encourage students and parents to be active participants as well.  I look forward to a year filled with many more accomplishments!!

     I started running about three years ago and have competed in many races, 5k's, 10k's, 10 milers, and half marathons.
