Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Social Emotional Learning skills are skills students use that help them pay attention, solve problems, connect socially with others, follow directions, and be successful students. When students have these skills, they are less likely to be disruptive, and they are ready to be learners in school.

Research has shown that students who possess good social and emotional skills, are also good learners. They have less anxiety, have good attention skills, good study skills, and are motivated learners.
