Modern American History Class

1877-2012

Welcome to the Modern American History page.

We will be studying a number of topics from Reconstruction of the United States, the Gilded Age, Imperialism, Progressivism, World War I and II, the Great Depression, the Cold War, and Post Cold War America.  As we learn about the people, events, documents, and artifacts of this time period, we work on our digital/technological skills and reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.  I look forward to a challenging and encouraging year as we learn from each other and prepare ourselves for a better and brighter future.
