Thursday-Friday: CP Students will prepare for their midterm exam/final exam (dual enrollment students). NCP Students will take their criminal justice test and will play the card game "The Pit" on Friday.

Monday: Students will finish taking notes and discussing the criminal law process.
Tuesday-Wednesday: Students will watch an episode of Law & Order and discuss important legal concepts from the episode. They will also be assigned a homework assignment about recidivism and prison institutionalization.
Thursday: Students will watch a documentary on a maximum security prison with emphasis placed on how the prison balances punishment and rehabilitation.
Friday: Students will work on a Google Classroom assignment requiring them to research and persuade a viewer of the appropriateness of the death penalty.
Week 2/12
Monday: Students will complete their research and preparation for their mock Supreme Court trial.
Tuesday: Students will read an article and answer questions about prison reform in America.
Wednesday: Students will hold their mock Supreme Court trials.
Thursday: Students will take notes and discuss the criminal law process.
Friday: Students will watch an episode of Law & Order and discuss important legal concepts from the episode.

Thursday-Friday: Students will take part in a class simulation in which they will break into committees and attempt to create a bill to be voted upon by their classmates. Goal is to simulate the bill/law process.

Tuesday: Students will complete a Congressional Internet Research activity in which they must find certain demographic and political information about our state and Federal legislators.
Wednesday: Students will complete an article summary on any news article concerning a piece of legislation or Congressional issue.
Thursday: Students will take notes and discuss chapter 5-2 & 5-3 (Powers & Limitations of Congress).

Monday: Students will complete a review puzzle to prepare for their chapter 4 test.
Tuesday: CP students will create 20 review questions with answers to be used for their review game on Wednesday. NCP students will complete a review quiz on www.quizlet.com and must pass it for mastery to earn credit.
