Purpose for the course:    Ninth Grade American Civics is designed to provide a basic course in the study of citizenship and government.  Information from the subjects of political science, history, geography, sociology, economics, and social psychology are carefully integrated into your text.  This course will also emphasize the need for each student to exhibit patriotism, civic responsibility, and respect for law.
