Mrs. Orrico's Kindergarten

Report Cards

There are three main grading periods for the kindergarten report cards: second, third and fourth nine weeks.  The first nine weeks is a parent/teacher conference.  You can read more about the conference in the conference section of this website.

The kindergarten report card is a checklist of the skills taught in kindergarten in preparation for first grade.  Each skill is marked based on a evaluation of beginning (B), developing (D), and secure (S).  Not all of the skills located on the report card are assesed each nine weeks.  Only those skills which should show mastery/secure are assessed.  Your child will be assesd in language arts, mathematics and work habits.

Kindergarten Conferences for the first nine weeks is scheduled for Friday, October 31.  This will take place during the regular school day.  The students will be off of school on this day.
