How Grades are Calculated

I grade off of a total points system. It is calculated by the number of points earned divided by the total number of points.

Example:

Homework Week 1 – 10/10

Homework Week 2 – 8/10

 Quiz 1 – 42/48

Homework Week 3 – 7/10

Homework Week 4 – 10/10

Chapter 1 Test – 79/87

Total          156/175 = 89% B
