Hello!  I have been a Reading Specialist for grades three through sixth at Glendale Elementary School for the past seven years. Watching students become strategic readers continues to be a rewarding experience.

After attending Saint Francis College from 1991-1995, I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education.  From 2002-2003, I completed graduate coursework in the Reading Specialist program at California State University - Stanislaus.  In the spring of 2007, I received my Reading Specialist certification from the state of Pennsylvania. 

 I have had numerous teaching assignments in my fourteen years of teaching. I taught fifth grade at Calvary Christian Elementary School in Forrest City, Arkansas; was a sixth grade Title I Reading teacher at Tenaya Middle School in Merced, California; and taught first grade at Pine City Elementary School in Pine, City, Minnesota before coming to Glendale.

Glendale is a great place to teach and learn.  I continue to participate in professional development courses and activities. 

In my spare time, you can find me reading, walking, and spending time with my family and friends.
