The use of calculators will be determined at the discretion of the teacher. Calculators will not be allowed when the content is focused on fundamental math skills. Calculators will be allowed when the level of the content is appropriate. The students will also be allowed to use the calculator when preparing for standardized exams.

It is the responsibility of each student to have his own calculator. The math department suggests a scientific/fraction calculator similar to the TI30XIIS.
