Glendale School District participates in the National School Breakfast and National School Lunch Program.  We provide nutritional meals to students each school day.  All meals must meet nutritional standards established by the US Department of Agriculture.

In June of 2004, the United States Congress passed a law requiring every school district with a federally-funded school meals program to develop and implement a local school wellness policy by the start of the 2006-2007 school year.
