My name is Jennifer Funk and I am a proud graduate of Port Allegany School District. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting; an Elementary Ed certification- both from UPB; and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University.  I am proof that a career change can be successful with a vision, hard work, and a passion.  I know now that the path I took allowed me to gain additional skills that help me to be a better teacher, as well as an appreciation to come to school and teach every day.

      I live in Turtlepoint with my husband Dan, who works for IBM and our two children, Amber and Jarrod.  Amber is in sixth grade and Jarrod is in fourth grade at PAES. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading nonfiction, traveling, going to auctions, and fostering/volunteering for the McKean County SPCA.
