The Student Advisory Council is looking to select no more than three students from each homeroom to run for this year’s Student Advisory Council in all grades.  What is student council? Long story short, Student Council is responsible for hosting events and raising money for the school and the students here at LAMS.  We elect 8 students 1 from each homeroom from each grade level to be a student council representative.  You would be responsible for helping host, set-up, and run any of the events here at the middle school.    

If you would like to be a part of the Student Advisory Council this year, you must 1) not have been suspended from school (in or out) last school year, and 2) must turn in an essay of no less than 150 words explaining why you would like to serve on the council.  Just a reminder students, if you should be elected to Student Council, you are in that club for the whole year. 

Essays of interested candidates should be emailed to Mr. Eck’s school email keck@lehighton.org or they may be turned into Mr. Eck directly in room C212 no later than the end of the day on Friday, September 17th, 2021    

Elections for next year’s Student Council will be held during your History classes and must be completed no later than Wednesday, 9/22.
