This class utilizes the Lexia reading program.  Lexia Reading provides the targeted practice that students need to develop their reading skills.  Your child will work on sight words, building sentences, spelling, reading words and word parts, and reading comprehension.  The Lexia program adjusts to students' responses as they work through the program.  It also provides the teacher with activities for additional instruction, remediation, and enrichment.  Your child may also use the program at home by clicking on the link below.  It is recommended that your child does the work independently.  The program will provide remediation if your child is struggling and will provide information to the teacher for extra support at school.
