Week of January 7th

 Students will take a unit test on 16th note rhythm patterns.

Then they will learn a folk song about the transcontinental railroad and learn a brief history of the song context.

Students will sing and play a melodic ostinato on Orff instruments to provide a background accompaniment to the song.
