2023-2024 School Year

Port Allegany Elementary School has a School-wide Title 1 Program.  This means that every teacher and every student is a Title 1 teacher and student.  Instead of a targeted selection of students, teachers are available to help all students all the time.  My job as the Title 1 Math teacher is to co-teach with classroom teachers to instruct and assess students' progress in their math classes. 

In Kindergarten and 1st grade, I administer the Early Numeracy Assessment three times each year, with each individual student in these two levels.  I also rotate into all Kindergarten and 1st-grade classrooms, once every week during their math class to teach students.

In 2nd grade, I rotate into each classrooms during math classes, or I take a small group out of the classroom to support students in small group math instruction.

In 3rd grade, I co-teach with Mrs. Freer's 3rd Period Math Class.  We work together to provide instruction to students. Small-group instruction is frequently used to support each concept taught.

In 4th grade, I co-teach with Mr. Wolf's 2nd Period Math Class.  We work together to provide instruction to  students.  Small-group instruction is frequently used to support each concept taught.
