The National Institute of Standards and Technology [NIST] has a webpage chock full of online resources including a means to request an SI Teacher Kit which includes metric rulers, unit conversion cards, publications, and many other free SI measurement units resources.  Click on the NIST link above to go there directly.

The extended tabs attached to this page contain pages with suggestions for the inclusion of more science content in each curriculum area.  Use these suggestions as a springboard for development of your own thoughts and ideas of how and to what extent integrating science into your curriculum is possible.

As you think about the possibilities for integrating more science content in the curriculum, creative ideas will certainly develop.  This is not intended as an exclusive resource for adopting ideas or methods.  If you have an idea you believe will work well in your classroom, please share it with me and I will post it on the webpage.
