Policies

Late for Class

  1. When the bell rings you should be in your seat ready to work.
  2. Walking in when the bell rings constitutes being late.

  2. Disrespectful comments will not be tolerated. (name calling, racial slurs, homophopic comments, or any type of derrogatory language)

Cell phones and other electronic devices

  1. Cell phones will not be permitted unless being used for a class/teacher directed activity.
  2. E-readers will not be permitted unless approved that day for an activity.
  3. Earbuds, headphones etc. will not be used during class.

Homework

  1. Is expected to be completed by the beginning of class on the due date.
  2. If absent homework may be exempted or taken the following day for credit
  3. If a student is absent it is the student's responsibilty to seek missed work. Mr. Fuller will not chase you down or beg you to turn in missing work.

Make up work

  1. Make up work is expected the following day after an absence.
  2. If absent multiple days time will be extended on a day by day basis.
  3. work not made up will be a zero.

Tests

  1. Tests will be made up within one week of an absence.
  2. If not the test will be a zero for not completing the work.
  3. All tests attempted will recieve a score no lower than 50%.This is so a child can recover from a poor score. However, if the test is just not attempted it will be entered as a zero.
  4. I will not track you down to take a test. It is your responsibility to make up your test. Sudents must come to me and coordinate a make up time.

Bonus Work

  1. I do not believe in bonus work for the purpose of raising a student's score.
  2. My reasoning is this. If the student had done the assigned work when it was assigned, there is no need for bonus work to gain points for a passing grade. DO NOT ASK, "WHAT CAN I DO TO GET BONUS POINTS TO PASS?"  The answer is nothing, you should have done the work assigned earlier in the marking period.
  3. If students do the work assigned they will be able to pass each marking period.
  4. I will occasionally give a bonus question on a test. It will not be used as make up work to correct scores for a poor work ethic.
