This website will enable you and your student to do several tasks to aid in learning, homework, and additional skill building practice. Check it out by clicking this link:  ConnectEd.com

Tasks you can do include:

• Print out a HomeLink (homework worksheet) for the homework given that day if your child is sick or forgot their copy at school.
• Log on to see the lesson taught THAT DAY, review from the lesson the day before, or get a sneak peak of tomorrow's lesson.
• Watch tutorial videos with your student on processes that he or she might need a refresher for from the day's lesson. 
• Give your student game time that is both an educational and fun way for him or her to practice their skills.

THINK THROUGH MATH

 

This is the second year our 3rd grade classes will be piloting a new program called Think Through Math, otherwise known as TTM. TTM is an interactive learning pathway for students to engage in math practice problems and games at their own ability level and pace. TTM also provides helpful hints and an on-call Math teacher that a student can chat or instant-message with to help solve different math problems he or she is struggling with. As students progress through the program they earn points that they can use to design their own avatar, donate to charity (converted to real money through the program), or give points towards a class goal (i.e. Movie Day, extra recess).
