We reviewed what a polygon is, how to name a polygon based upon the number of sides as well as whether it is convex or concave. We also learned the formulas to determine the sum of the interior and exterior angles as well as the interior and exterior of one angle if the polygon is regular. In this section, students were introduced to the transversal and the 8 angles that are formed with two parallel lines and a transversal.
