Usernames & Passwords for MOST students follow this format:

User name =  graduation year+first initial and entire last name; password = lunch number with SCA on the end. 

Marking Period 3 Genre: Fiction

Book Report/Project MP3:  Literary Theme Park Project (see packet).  Due March 19th (Thursday)

Accelerated Reader (AR):  

All testing must be completed in an ELA classroom. The AR goal of 18pts (all fiction) for MP3 will be due March 19th (Thursday).  Completed reading logs will be due every Monday in class (worth 10 points each). The logs for the new week will be distributed on Fridays. Students will be provided with "AR time" in class (20 mins in class on Tuesdays and Thursdays) to help them reach the weekly goal.  Students must read a total of 100 minutes per week. Rewards will be given for students who exceed the goal (25 pts for MP1, 30 pts for MP2, 35 pts for MP3, 40 pts for MP4). You cannnot use a class novel for AR, but you CAN use a "book report" book toward your goal. Remember to bring your AR book with you to class everyday!

*Note*Points do not carry over between marking periods. The reward party for qualifying students will be announced in advance and held during period 11 in the ELA classroom. Students will be given an invitation and should bring this with them as their "ticket" to come to the party.
