Mr. Fegley (SCA Middle School Math)

About Me

About Me:

I'm a 2009 graduate of Southern Columbia and a 2014 Graduate of Bloomsburg University. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Mathematics and a concentration in Exceptionalities. I obtained my Master's Degree from Concordia University (Portland, Oregon) in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics in 2016.

Currently, I'm in my seventh year as a Middle School Math Teacher in the Southern Columbia Area Middle School. In my teaching career, I have taught students in 8th, 7th, 6th, and 5th grade math including Algebra I & Pre-Algebra.

I am actively involved with the sports programs at SCA. During the fall, I announce all of the varsity football games for the Black Diamond Sports Network. Saturday mornings, I write a weekly article on each Tigers game at www.pafootballnews.com during the fall season. I am the public address announcer for all of the home junior varsity and junior high football games. In the winter, I have previously coached as an assistant for varsity girls & boys basketball in the Tiger program for nine years. Currently I am a clock operator for basketball games and wrestling matches and announce a handful of basketball games for BDSN. During the spring, I officiate the long and triple jump events during home track meets. I have also filled in as a game manager for the athletic director in all of the sports. I'm also a stringer for the News-Item in which I write articles throughout the sporting seasons.

On the side, I work for a clothing business that does all types of screen printing and embroidery of any items you can think of, as well as window decals & signs. Email me at davefegs9@gmail.com if you are in need of any customized apparel!
