Students will learn to incorporate figures of speech and descriptive devices into their writing. The use of short stories, novels, listening tapes, dictionaries, comprehension and vocabulary activities, and targeted skill practice are all a part of this process. Determination of Grades:

  1. Homework will be assigned to reinforce academic content. It is essential that students complete all assignments.
  2. A point value will be assigned to each graded assignment, including homework.
