9th Grade American History/POD
9th Grade American History: In this class students study a variety of early American history includings the important events, ideas, and people in America from prehistory until 1900. Major events that are covered include: exploration, colonization, revolution, westward expansion, slavery, and internal conflicts.
12th Grade Problems of Democracy: Students study the formation of American government and how government works. Topics covered include: historical backgound, the Constitution, political parties, voting and voting rights, Congress, the President, and the Supreme Court.
