Pumpkin Decorating Contest

     Each October students are asked to complete a family PUMPKIN CARVING/DECORATING.  Students have one requirement, that is they must use at least one PUMPKIN in their project. Students may carve, paint, build, etc. with their pumpkins. 

    Pumpkin categories include:  Best of Show, Best Carved, Most Creative, Scariest, Viking Prde, The Funniest, Best Character, Best Use of Materials, Best in Sports, Best Painted, Best Animal, Most Lifelike, Goofiest, Most Traditional, Judge's Special.

     Pumpkins are then displayed in the front lobby for at least 3 days for the entire elementary and junior/senior school to view.  Pumpkins are also open for the public to view during these 3 days. 

    

     Pictures of pumpkins have been placed in the local Progress newspaper, as well as, being displayed on WTAJ TV 10 news and the School Matters segment.
