The minimum requirements for a high school diploma are:

• Keystone Exams: Beginning with the Class of 2021 students must take and score Proficient/Advanced on the Keystone Exams, or complete a Proficiency Project to be eligible to earn a High School Diploma.  Students will be assessed in the following areas:  

• Biology (students will take this exam as they are completing Biology)

• Literature (students will take this exam in grade 10)

• Algebra (students can expect to take this exam between grades 8-10)

• Project-Based Assessments (Literature, Algebra, Biology)

            *  Only for students who do not reach proficiency on a Keystone Exam.

            *  Students will still be allowed to re-take the Keystone Exam.

            *  Seniors must submit their project based assessment for evaluation by January 15.

            *  Time Frame for Project completion will vary depending on the student and his/her academic needs.
