Welcome Parents & Students!

Hi! My name is Emily Williams and I am the 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade Learning Support teacher for the Minersville Area School District. I have served as the district's Transition Coordinator since 2014. From 2015-2022, I taught at she Schuylkill ACHIEVE After-School Program, which takes place at our Elementary Center and serves students in grades third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. I have also previously served as the softball coach for the Minersville Area Junior High girls softball team from 2010 to 2012. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Special Education certification from Alvernia University in 2010. In 2014, I attained my Master's Degree in Urban Education from Alvernia University.

It is my goal to assist each and every one of my students in becoming responsible and independent adults who are prepared for life after high school. I fully support my students in whichever direction they choose to go, whether it be to attend college or trade school, enlisting in the military, or seeking full-time employment.

Thank you for visiting our class website! Please visit often to get the latest news, transition information, and reminders about what is happening in our classroom.
