Curriculum Framework Questions
There is a lot of information on one page in the Curriculum Framework. How can I make it easier to read?
You can elect to hide columns in the Curriculum Framework by using the Hide Essential Questions and/or Hide Concepts icons at the top of the page. Click the icons once again to return the columns to the Framework.
There are numbered/lettered codes in the last column of the Curriculum Framework. What do they represent?
The codes represent Standards and/or Eligible Content statements that are aligned to a Competency. To see the text of the statment, hover your mouse over the code and the text will appear in a pop-up window. Click on the code to be taken to the Browse Standards tab, where you can locate resources, if available, aligned to the Standard and/or Eligible Content statement.
When I perform a search for grade level bands, the Big Ideas repeat themselves. Is this an error?
The Big Ideas are consistent across grade levels. If you select a grade level band that represents 3 grade levels (e.g., 3-5 Band), the Big Ideas will repeat once for each of the grade levels - you will see the same Big Ideas repeated three times.
