Below, please find the directions to LOG ONTO POWERSCHOOL in order to be able to monitor your child's progress throughout the entire school year.  No longer will you have to wait until reports or an email from the teacher.  Please plan to log onto Powerschool weekly so that no surprises catch you off guard on report card day.

Direct your browser to https://bearcreekschool.powerschool.com/public/home.html and book mark this page or go to our web site and click the Parent    Portal link. This link will take you to the following log on page.

 

            Username:     Mailed to you in August                                 (usernames 4 letters and 3 numbers)

             Password:      If you forgot, please contact the office            (passwords are numbers only)

 

Your next page will be your child’s home page.

We are currently using the following functions within the parent portal:

  • Grades and Attendance:   Click on the blue grades to view the assignments for each subject that make up the current grade. The faculty will be updating information to their grade book within 3 days of an assessment.  Attendance is updated daily.

  • Grade History:  This view shows you the final grades for each marking period that were published on the report card.  Click on the blue grade and you will see the assignments that made up that grade. 
  •  
  • Attendance History:   This view indicates your child’s attendance for the most recent marking period.  If you have questions about attendance codes, please call the school office.
  •  
  • Email Notification:  If you wish you may set up automatic Email Notification of your child’s progress.  Choose your personal settings and enter your email address into the form, when complete, click submit at the bottom of the page. 

 

  • I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SIGNING UP FOR AUTOMATIC EMAILS! : )

To email a specific teacher, click on the blue teacher name which will open your default email program.  You may then email the teacher directly regarding your child’s progress.

 At the end of your session, please log out of the program.
