If you are looking for suggestions of what to read during the school closure, 

both classes seemed to have enjoyed the first book in the following series:

Harry Potter- The Sorcerer's Stone, JK Rowling

Series of Unfortunate Events- The Bad Beginning, Lemony Snicket

The Chronicles of Narnia- The Magician's Nephew, CS Lewis (almost completed!)

So, I recommend the next book in any of the above series, or any of the following titles:

• Tale of Despereaux, by Kate DiCamillo
• Because of Winn-Dixie,by Kate DiCamillo
• Holes, by Louis Sacher
• The Indian in the Cupboard, Lynne Reid Banks

You might want to continue with daily journaling, so you will have entries to share when we return to school.
