Students receiving learning support services follow the general education curriculum. Learning Support and classroom teachers collaborate to make adaptations to the regular curriculum as needed and based on what is appropriate for each student. . Students are included in regular education activities as much as is appropriate. The Individual Education Program team determines the type and extent of supports needed.
Curriculum follows a sequential continuum that facilitates the transition from basic skills acquisition to skill application and higher level thinking that mirrors the school curriculum.
Teachers utilize modifications and adaptations to ensure effective instruction for all students.
Faculty and staff provide ongoing intervention to ensure that students are progressing through the curriculum and making appropriate progress as noted in the IEP.
