Library Policy

 

Kindergarten and 1st grade may borrow 1 book per library class and return it the next class.

1st grade may borrow 2 books after the 1st quarter. The books may be kept for 2 cycles. The class between "Book Week" will be library skills instuction.

2-8th grades may borrow 2 books and return after the 2nd cycle. The schedule will be:  Cycle 1 is "Book Week" and Cycle 2 will be "Library Instruction".

6-8th grades will be meeting in the Computer Lab for the 2nd cycle in order to expand on learning and practicing research procedures.

If students ever need additional books, they may get approval to borrow more than 2.

Overdue Books:  There are no fines; however, students must return overdue books before new books can be checked out.
