            O         Outstanding (95-100)

             VG      Very Good (90-94)

            S         Satisfactory (80-89)

            NI        Needs Improvement (70-79)

            U         Unsatisfactory ( below 70)

 

The following criteria will be used for grades 3 through 8.

  12 points --- participation, effort  and class work.              

 10 points  --- Quizzes

10-20 points ---- activities and projects

  •  There is positive participation which allows for students to listen attentively, share ideas, follow directions, interactive positively with others in their group, and are not disruptive to the learning environment.
  •  Negative participation interrupts the learning environment and prevents other students from learning.

 

  Grades K-2 will be participation. The following rubric is used to determine all students’ participation.

interrupted when the teacher was talking/teaching.

 

Behavior

Student almost never displayed
disruptive behavior.

Student rarely displayed disruptive
behavior during class.

Student occasionally displayed
disruptive behavior during class.

Student almost always displayed
