I was born and raised in Hanover.  I have a very close family, which includes one brother named Justin, a mom and dad.  In July 2009, I got married to my wonderful husband, Greg.  Greg and I have a cat named Chardy.  Chardy is a very loving cat and is great entertainment. 

I went to elementary school at Park Hills and continued in the South Western School District until I graduated in 2003.  I have always been proud to be a Mustang and always will be.  After I graduated from high school, I went to college at Clarion University.  It has always been my dream to be a teacher, especially at South Western, so I went to Clarion University to study elementary and special education.  I graduated from Clarion University in December 2008 and received a special education teaching position in a middle school classroom.  After teaching in the middle school setting for a year and a half, I knew my heart was in elementary education.  I am so happy that I can come back to South Western, since this is where my dream of becoming a teacher began.  South Western has given a lot to me as a student and I look forward to giving back to the district now as a teacher.  I look forward to this school year and know I will enjoy teaching at Manheim because of its family like environment.
