Welcome Parents & Students!

Thank you for visiting this website. For our full School Counseling website, and resources we can provide, please visit Mr. Eskesen's page. We thought it would be better to have resources in one area.

About Me

I was hired by the district in 2011 as a School Counselor. Prior to working here, I was a Youth Addictions Counselor in New York. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Penn State University, and a Master of Science in Education in School Counseling from Duquesne University. I have lived in and visited many different areas of the country, and there are many amazing places out there!

I made the decision to become a counselor after I realized how much I enjoyed listening to people and trying to help them solve their life problems. Although life presents many challenges, both large and small, I believe that we have the ability to overcome things, even if it takes us a little longer than we might expect. I continue to strive to be someone who can help others through hardship, and I believe my life would feel incomplete if I were not doing this type of work.

In my spare time, I enjoy doing many things. First and foremost, my family and friends are central to who I am - I spend as much time with them as possible.

I enjoy reading, listening to music, and being active (whether it be through hiking, kayaking, etc.)  logo-20foo-20fighters.jpg

As your children journey through the high school, I hope they find that all of their experiences, both good and bad, will shape them into the successful young adults they were meant to be. I am happy to help in any way I can.
