General Information About Navigating The Website:
I have created a website for each grade.
On the calendar page for each grade you will a description of what went on in class each day. You can find homework assignments and due dates as well. Many of my study guides and worksheets are available to download from the calendar page. Along withomework calendar I have created a second webpage where you can also find many of my worksheets, assignments and study guides. I have also included other worksheets for practice, and additional graphic organizers for help with writing assignments that are specific to each grade level. You can download these to your computer and print them out.
I have also included a page with helpful links. These sites offer information and resources for many of the assignments/units I teach. You can also find help on many aspects of writing through these links.
For my 8th grade classes:
This year you will be required to complete 10 Accelerated Reader points each marking period.
I will schedule library trips so that you can choose your books.
I will also provide time for Silent Sustained Reading (SSR) in class and during Academic Support. You may also need to read at home in order to complete the required number of points.
You can take your A.R. tests either in the library or in Ms. Kasper's class.
