Dissecting Words in Biology!

  1. Read through the list of biology vocabulary words that have been provided for you. You will see that some of the words have been separated into their smaller parts.
  2. Fill out the chart with words that have been separated into parts. Use the “Scientific Root Words, Prefixes & Suffixes” list to fill in word part meanings, write the literal meaning, and then use your textbook glossary to write the actual definition.
