The Family Literacy Professional Development Project is excited to introduce new distance learning resources for families in the areas of Parent Education and Interactive Literacy Activities.
The new online "Parent Portal" containes ten lessons for families. These multimedia lessons are available online and also on a CD. In addition to the lessons, paper-based, distance learning-approved Interactive Literacy Activities called "Learning Games" are also available.
At the foundation of these lessons is content from the Center for Early Literacy and Learning (CELL) and the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL). The Family Literacy Project is part of a state-wide collaboration effort focused on promoting these resources.
