Hello everyone! My name is Pamela Smith-Diaz. I am currently a graduate student, studying to earn my Masters in Secondary Education with certifications in Social Studies and Art Education. I am a 2003 graduate of Dieruff High School in Allentown, Pa. I hold a Bachelors of Art in United States History with minors in religious studies and political science. I also hold a Bachelors of Art in Integrated Art with concentrations in ceramics, photography, and art education. 

My goal is to one day teach high school level social studies in an urban environment. Throughout my life I have been taught to be a strong activist for what I believe in. One thing that I truly believe is that every student deserves the same opportunities. No student should have to give up on their goals or feel they are lacking potential to make it in life. I want every student leaving my classroom with a sense of success and feeling like they have accomplished something that some if not many, told them that they could not acheive.
