Family and Consumer Sciences is a comprehensive course with emphasis on interpersonal skills, citizenship, leadership, teamwork, decision-making, and problem solving skills.  This is a cycle course which only meets for 18 days.  6th grade meets 1 class period a day, 7th and 8th grade meets for a double period.

Curriculum:

8th Grade:  Child Development and Financial/Resource Management

7th Grade:  Food Science and Nutrition

6th Grade:  Balancing Family, Work /Community Responsibility and Career Education/Work
