LA SALLE  UNIVERSITY

    

La Salle University, the private, co-educational, comprehensive university located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is named for St. Jean-Baptiste de La Salle. The school was founded in 1863 by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.

 Originally under the auspices of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Arcadia University now maintains a historic relationship with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), but is independently controlled and ecumenical in spirit.

Located in Glenside, PA.
