Fun Classes for Bright Kids
C-MITES at Carnegie Mellon University provides hands-on, challenging activities for bright and gifted students. C-MITES offers classes and above-level testing at many locations throughout Pennsylvania. The program is dedicated to encouraging creative thinking outside of the classroom, working educational material into unique, hand on classes.
C-MITES holds Weekend Workshops on selected Saturdays and Sundays throughout the spring. Half-Day and full-day classes are available for students in grades K-10. Classes include: Crazy Coasters, Trigonometry, Build a Robot, Action-Packed Engineering and Intro to Materials Science. Financial aid is available, and testing is not required.
